JCHAI offers a different approach to supporting your family member in their new independent life. Unlike other organizations that only provide some of our services or who offer many services that have nothing to do with people with disabilities, JCHAI specializes in providing all the supports an individual needs to live an independent and happy life. We make sure that the individual learns not just how to live independently, but learns how to have a meaningful job in the community and a fulfilling social life. We are the only agency that supports individuals holistically so that the individual doesn't have to worry about cobbling together services from other places. We give peace of mind because we take care of everything.
Independent Living Development
Through its expert staff, programming, and individualized support planning, JCHAI empowers individuals by teaching key skills for independent living, from personal hygiene and cooking all the way to budgeting and time management.
Interpersonal Development
Through its social programming, courses, and dynamic community environment, JCHAI fosters key social and interpersonal skill development that enables members to build healthy relationships.
